Job Description
Senior Systems Administrator – M&A Integration
Location: Chicago, IL (on-site)
Type: Full-time
Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 + bonus and benefits
The Company
A global leader in enterprise cloud software, serving businesses of every size worldwide. The organisation continues to grow through acquisition, and its corporate security function plays a central role in bringing each new business safely into the fold.
The Role
A newly created, high-visibility individual contributor role reporting directly to the Director, Physical Security Systems & Technology. You'll own the integration of acquired sites into the company's physical security ecosystem – assessing what's in place, building the plan, leading the meetings and getting every stakeholder aligned. This isn't a people-management role, but it does call for real program leadership: you'll steer projects and teams across the business without line-managing them.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the integration of acquired sites' physical security systems (access control, CCTV/VMS, intrusion, intercom and supporting infrastructure) into the corporate platform.
• Run site assessments and gap analyses, then build and own integration roadmaps, timelines and budgets.
• Act as program/project lead – chairing meetings, driving actions and keeping multiple integrations on track.
• Be the go-to systems expert, advising on architecture, standards, migrations and complex troubleshooting.
• Build strong relationships with acquired-site teams, IT, Facilities, Security Operations, integrators and vendors.
• Work with IT on network, server and cybersecurity requirements for security systems.
• Document standards, configurations and processes so integrations are repeatable at scale.
• Report progress, risks and decisions to the Director and wider leadership.
Requirements
• Senior-level, broad expertise across enterprise physical security systems and their IT/network dependencies.
• Proven experience as a PM or program lead – running meetings, workstreams and cross-functional projects.
• Confident and vocal in meetings, able to influence stakeholders at every level.
• Strong relationship builder who earns trust quickly with new teams.
• Experience with system migrations, consolidations or M&A integrations is highly desirable.
• Manufacturer certifications on major platforms (e.g. Lenel, C•CURE, Genetec, Milestone or equivalent) a plus.
• Enterprise, multi-site or global end-user experience preferred; PMP or similar certification a plus.
Package
• $110,000 – $125,000 base salary plus incentive/bonus plan
• Paid holiday and vacation
• Health and life insurance
• 401(k) with employer match
